1. General

Our website may be visited without registration and without any personal references to you as a person. Our website collects a series of general data and information when you call up the website.  This general data and information is stored in the server log files and may consist of i.e. the date and time of access to the internet site, name of accessed files and the internet service provider of the accessing system. When using this data and information, we do not draw any conclusions about a specific person. Rather, this information is needed to deliver the content of our website correctly and optimize the content of our website.

Forasmuch as there is personal data (i.e. name, address, or e-mail address) being collected on these pages, this is, as far as possible, carried out on a voluntary basis. Which personal data is transmitted to the controller is determined by the respective input mask used for registration. This voluntarily transmitted data is used to enable the controller to offer you pre-sale contents as well as conclude a contract with you. Without this data we can neither establish a contract with you nor answer your queries. When placing an order for the second time, your access will be facilitated. After complete implementation of your last contract, or cancellation of your account, your data will be blocked, taking into consideration record retention periods in accordance with fiscal and commercial law. After this period however, your data will be deleted unless you specifically consented to its continued use.

By registering on the website of the controller, the IP-address – assigned by the internet service provider (ISP) and used by you – date and time of the registration are also stored.  The storage of this data takes place against the background that this is the only way to prevent the misuse of our services, and if necessary, to make it possible to investigate committed offences. The storage is therefore necessary to protect the controller. This data is not passed on to third parties unless there is a statutory obligation to do so, or if such a transfer serves the purpose of criminal prosecution.

When contacting us, i.e. through our contact form or by e-mail, the personal data transmitted to us is automatically stored. Which personal data is transmitted to the controller is determined by the respective input mask used for the purpose of contacting us. Such personal data transmitted on a voluntary basis to us, is stored exclusively for the purpose of responding to your queries, allowing us to contact you and facilitating technical processes. After having fully processed your query and for the purpose of responding to follow up questions, this data will be stored for six months. There is no transfer of this personal data to third parties.

In addition, we collect your name and email address when you subscribe to our newsletter. The subscription to our newsletter may be terminated by you at any time either by clicking the corresponding link found in the newsletter or by sending us a notification in a different way. Your email- address will be instantly erased from our newsletter-distribution-list, as soon as we receive your revocation of consent. During the registration for the newsletter, we also store the IP address of the computer system assigned by the internet provider system (ISP) and used by you at the time of the registration, as well as the time and date of the registration. The collection of this data is necessary in order to understand the (possible) misuse of your email address at a later date, and it therefore serves the aim to legally protect the controller. The newsletter of Slipperlicious contains so-called tracking pixels. A tracking pixel is a miniature graphic embedded in such e-mails, which are sent in HTML format to enable the log file recording and analysis. This allows a statistical analysis of the success or failure of online marketing campaigns. Based on the embedded tracking pixel, Slipperlicious may see if and when an e-mail was opened by a data subject and which links in the e-mail were called up by you or any person concerned.

Such personal data collected in the tracking pixels contained in the newsletter are stored and analysed by the controller in order to optimize the delivery of the newsletter, as well as to adapt and enhance the content of future newsletters to serve your interest even better. These personal data will not be passed on to third parties. You are at any time entitled to revoke the issued by means of the double-opt-in procedure. After a revocation, these personal data will be deleted by the controller. Slipperlicious automatically regards a withdrawal from the receipt of the newsletter as a revocation.

Data processing operations are in accordance with the statutory stipulations § 96 Abs 3 TKG as well as Art 6 Abs 1 lit a (Consent) for the processing of data when subscribing to newsletters and lit b (Essentials for the implementation of contracts)

Slipperlicious offers users the possibility to leave individual comments to individual blog contributions in a blog, on the website of the controller. A blog is a web-based, publicly- accessible portal, through which one or more persons called bloggers or web-bloggers may post articles or write down thoughts in so-called blogposts. Blogposts may usually be commented by third parties.

If a person leaves a comment on the blog on this website, the comments made by this person are also stored and published, as well as information on the date of the commentary and on the user’s (pseudonym) chosen by the data subject. In addition, the IP address assigned by the internet service provider (ISP) to that person is also logged.  This storage of the IP address takes place for security reasons, and in case that person violates the rights of third parties or posts illegal content.

The storage of this personal data is, therefore, in the interest of the data controller, so that he can be exculpated in the event of an infringement. This data will be deleted after a period of six months.

Data processing operations are in accordance with the statutory stipulations § 96 Abs 3 TKG as well as Art 6 Abs 1 lit f (legitimate interest)
